GENOA


Mobility service, the new special service of Genoa province, allows everyone with walking problems to rent a special 4 wheel electric scooter enabling them to easily move around the Historical Centre and to visit the accessible tourist attractions in Genoa. The most popular attraction in the town is the Aquarium of Genoa, that reaches an high standard of accessibility.

"Taxi Azzurro": the service offers cars equipped with the necessary space for wheelchairs of the disabled people. The versatility of these cars allows to satisfy the demands of those people that must move on short or long distances, alone or in group, having 8 places besides the driver, or in configuration for the disabled people actually to 5 places plus a wheelchair besides the driver.

Genoa Airport Cristoforo Colombo: for passengers on wheelchair it is available an elevating platform to facilitate the embarkation on the aeroplane. When booking a flight, passengers with disabilities are asked to specify the type of assistance needed (this service must be booked at least three days before the departure and it involves the payment of a supplement). Placed in the green side of the Giacomo Puccini Music Centre at Fair Park, is The New Great Open Air Theatre.
