The Scuola Normale Superiore in Pisa, take his name from the Highest School "Normale" (Ecole Normale Superieure), in Paris. It was founded by Napoleon in 1810 as a branch of it, and today it's one of the most famous University in Italy, known all over the world, especially for the research.
They select the highest level students in the area of Art & Sciences.
The Italian government covers most of the costs, but to enter it's necessary to pass a very competitive admission test (and very hard...)
