HOW TO ARRIVE AND HOW TO MOVE IN VERSILIA
The access to this area couldn’t be easier:
by plane: from the nearby airport of Pisa, connected with all Europe and especially with many low-coast companies and from the Firenze-Peretola one.
by car: driving alone the A1 motorway there are two exits to reach the zone of Versilia.
by train
The most convenient is to catch the train from Pisa:
- To Camaiore: direct trains (time: 30 minutes)
- To Viareggio: direct trains (time: 20 min)
- To Pietrasanta: direct trains (time: 30 min)
- To Forte dei Marmi-Seravezza-Querceta: direct trains (time: 30 min)
- To Massarosa: no direct trains (time: 45 min)
During your stay here, if you haven’t got your own means, an efficient service of public bus is available to move around all Versilia, or if you want to do a little of bodily activity there is the possibility to rent a bike (there are many bicycle hires) or in alternative a scooter.

CONNECTIONS FROM/TO THE AIRPORT:
The airport of Pisa has direct access to the highway Florence–Pisa (exit Pisa centre–airport), to the motorway A12 Genova–Rosignano (exit Pisa Centre), to the motorway A11 Florence–Pisa Nord (through the junction of Pisa nord with the A12), and finally to the state street SS1 Aurelia.
– There is a connection between the airport and the railway terminal, which serves to link up directly the airport with the Pisa central station, with an availability of about 25 daily connections.
It's possibile to buy tickets to the information office, situated in the arrivals hall.
– There is a taxy service organized by the cooperative society of Pisa (CO.TA.PI); the taxis can be held at the exit of the airport, arrivals site; the service radio taxi is available during all of the day at telephone number 050/541600.
– With regards to the autobus to reach the airport from the centre of Pisa, or it's possible to use the company ctp, that's to say the transportation company of Pisa; the ticket's price is 0,85 cent and it can be bought inside the airport, in the arrivals hall, or at the last bus stop that is held at the side departures.

- by car: This area in the north-west of Florence is located between the toll-house of north Florence and the industrial Florentine area nearby the town of Prato.
You can easily reach the airport driving along all the Guidoni avenue till the beltway Firenze nord/ Firenze mare (A1 and A11)
