UNIVERSITEit van PISA

De Universiteit van Pisa is officieel gesticht in 1343, alhoewel door een aantal wordt beweerd dat het uit de 11de eeuw komt.

Veel verschillende bekende mensen hebben hier gestudeerd, zoals Galileo Galilei, die tevens is geboren in Pisa, en wiskunde professor werd aan de Pisan Studium in 1589.
